I Ashley Lee go by the artist name BangBangRu is a 22 year old artist from memphis Tn. I began writing poetry in 6th grade which expired me to start writing music. It has been my passion every since. In 2010 my father passed from cancer. That expired me even more to persue my dream as an artist. Times began to get hard. My mother worked very hard to step up and help me get through this tragedy. As time went by i got more serious with writing music but still didnt take the steps into recording. In 2016 my close friend since 7th grade tiana edmondson was murdered. She was always by my side when it came to my music and wanted me to chase my dream. After her death it felt like my world had ended. I had no hope or anybody to help me get through this tragedy. I then remembered what she told me about my music which made me take the steps towards getting into a recording studio. I started off recording in my oldest brother house. I made track after track. About a year into recording music i then took the steps into finding better quality. Music became my life. While constantly getting side tracked by everyday problems i still managed to chase my dream as an artist.
